I have some amazingly pretty and timeless engagement rings to share with you today from an editorial that I photographed for Browns Family Jewellers in Harrogate, Yorkshire.
Fashions for engagement rings come and go but I will always love the timeless classic designs. These rings are from the vintage and antique collection at Browns and there is definitely a return to this trend. But there is still a huge range of styles and designs within it.
If you like a statement ring, but would prefer something classic over modern, a single coloured gem stone is the perfect balance, and they suit almost any skin tone too. Doesn’t the single sapphire with the frilled edge of diamonds around it remind you of Princess Diana’s engagement ring, now worn by Kate Middleton? Proof if ever there was needed that timeless engagement rings really do continue to stay in fashion.
Diamonds are of course referred to as a girl’s best friend, but there have been so many different styles preceding the modern solitaire. Within this collection of timeless engagement rings, there are trios of brilliant cut stones, square stones surrounded by clusters as well as oval stones. This range of shapes, within a classic style is what truly makes them timeless.
If you have recently become engaged, and would like to talk to me about an engagement shoot or wedding photography I would love to hear from you.
