Valentina’s Lost Orangery in Wiltshire, UK was the setting for this stunning Fine Art bridal inspiration shoot. This luxury venue, which hosts a limited number of weddings each year has an array of beautiful views and Italianate styled gardens. If you are looking for an exclusive, private setting for your wedding then I couldn’t recommend Valentina’s Lost Orangery highly enough.
Deep within the beautiful Cotswolds, not far from Bath, Valentina’s Lost Orangery is set within 500 acres of private grounds and is surrounded by the walls of a crumbling castle. The main terrace looks out over a stunning azure pool and to the romantic gardens and a lake beyond.
Such incredible surroundings deserves the very best wedding vendors and Firenza Floral Design created a stunning floral arch in the serene private chapel; the loose greenery echoing the rich gardens of the venue. A tumbling array of sweet peas and dahlias adorned the sweet row boat for some intimate portraits of the bride and groom. Deep plum and apricot dahlias, alongside wide cupped roses made up the beautiful bridal bouquet and table arrangements. The wedding breakfast was styled beneath an arch of creamy cotswold stone, lit up by a magical antique cut glass chandelier.
The hugely original Wells Makery hand painted a suite of stationery for this wedding; delicate brush calligraphy and watercoloured flowers in the same plum and apricot Autumnal hues, on hand-made paper, were luxurious works of art.
The very talented Cherry Williams designed a bespoke robe for the bride; the layers of silk making it a relaxed but luxurious choice for the bridal preparation portraits. She also designed the stunning wedding gown, with it’s delicate tulle and pretty shoulder decoration. This dress was the perfect combination of beautiful style with relaxed movement. As the bride was gathered into the arms of her new husband for a romantic sunset kiss on the terrace overlooking the walled English garden, the skirts of the dress and the train of the veil left a sweeping shape behind her.
I loved the understated up-do hairstyle created by Louise Alway for the bride; unstructured and with loose tendrils, it was soft and romantic. Harriet Wilde’s peony bridal shoes tied with ribbons, were the perfect floral finishing touches to this beautiful inspiration for Fine Art bridal styling.
Thank you to all the wonderful suppliers who made this such a stunning day to photograph.
If you are planning a wedding at Valentina’s Lost Orangery I would love to hear from you.
